Jhadap is a project under the brief of designing a transportation brand for a city. This project consists of a visual identity designed for an electric minibus service for the city of Ahmedabad. Aim is to show the visual identity along with brand guidelines designed for the same.

LOGO EXPLORATIONS AND ABOUT THE LOGO
These logo explorations show the different variations of logos explored.

The main logo is a Gujarati word Jhadap, when translated in english means 'quick'. An italic typeface is used which has been modified using an element of movement creating a road. The logo is swift and the italic shows that it is in motion, it highlights the positioning of the electric minibus service which is fast, sustainable and inclusive.
LOGO SPACING AND CLEARANCE
The clearance space around the logo is the space that should be maintained when the logo is being used with or used in other branding collaterals.

VISUAL ELEMENTS - GRAPHIC ANCHORS AND ICONS
The main graphic element here are the two linear swirls.
These lines are detangled at one end and at the other end they merge as one. This shows the purpose of the electric minibus service which is to deconjest heavy traffic areas and provide an ease in transportation.
The bus icons are in various forms and colors which are used in different signage and other key applications.
APP ICON AND REFRESH SCREEN UI
The bus routes will be visible on the app which would give the location and ETA of each bus to save time while commuting.
BRAND APPLICATION ON SIGNAGE
The sinage are designed for the bus stops, they show stop name and other important details. They are also made in Gujarati to create an inclusive experience for the local people of Ahmedabad.
BRAND APPLICATION ON THE MINIBUS
These are some mockups which show the branding on the minibus. The representation of the brand is shown using the logo and graphic elements, a distinctive color is used which makes it stand out on the roadways.
