ABOUT
Kyani & Co in Marine Lines is one of the most well known among Mumbai’s Parsi cafes. Founded in 1904 by Mr. Khodram Marezaban, who sought to bring the unique tastes of his culture to the people of Mumbai, Kayani is considered to be the oldest still remaining Irani café in town.
The project is about the rebranding the existing cafe and designing a custom packaging for their takeaway boxes, the packaging is designed in a manner that it gives the customer a feeling of wholesomeness of the bakery and Kyani the recall value that they deserve.The packaging adds life to the freshly baked goods that they are serving since the year 1904.

VISUAL ELEMENTS IN THE PACKAGING
The flower style illustration is inspired by the patterns on Iranian tiles. The red plaid pattern is used as an element of nostalgia reminding one of the tablecloth that is still present
in the bakery.
FINAL DELIVERABLES AND PRODUCT
PHOTOGRAPHY
The final deliverables consist of two boxes, one is the square box which is specially customized for the plum cake packaging, which is a very popular dessert served by Kyani. The second box is a secondary packaging to embark the identity of Kyani on the other food items being sold.
